Underwater construction

Planning for construction at sea

Construction, near the shore or at sea, presents a unique set of challenges. Most importantly, you need to know the geological makeup, the dynamics of the sea bottom and any potential environmental pollutants in the area. You will also need to ensure that no cultural remains will be damaged.
RWMT's sub-bottom scanning system

Sustainable mapping of the sub-bottom sediment layers

RWMT's system for mapping the bottom sediment layer is capable of locating foreign structures, such as waterlogged wood, pipes and cables, and at the same time identify buried cultural remains.

Other survey methods involves digging and test drilling which often interfere with and potentially harm the marine environment.
